No more second-guessing yourself - it's time to follow through on what matters.

You have the intellectual understanding. Now let’s build the emotional steadiness and self-trust to act on it — so you can show up as the person you're proud to be.

LET'S DO THIS

You Might Need A
STEADY Mind™ if:

You’re constantly doing - working, planning, producing...

but still feel behind, unproductive, or like you’re never doing enough.

You give so much to others - your friends, your family, your work...

that you’re left with nothing in the tank when it’s time to care for yourself.

You’re stuck in cycles of overthinking, overconsuming, and avoiding your own needs...

scrolling instead of resting, skipping meals or movement, putting off what really matters.

You know what you 'should' be doing to feel better...

but following through feels impossible when you’re exhausted, disconnected from your body, and running on stress.

YEP THAT'S ME!

With a STEADY Mind™, You’ll...:

Eat in a way that supports your body

Without obsessing over every bite, or swinging between restriction and rebellion.

Treat yourself like a priority

Without needing constant motivation or abandoning yourself when things get hard.

Follow through on what matters to you

Without spiralling into self-doubt
or holding back out of fear of doing it wrong.

You just to cultivate your mind -  instead of letting it lead you.

This process has created so much freedom in my life.

I reached out to address my relationship with food — something that felt overwhelming and unachievable. Having Shannon be a compassionate mirror to my thoughts and actions was extremely helpful to address issues I didn’t even know were part of the initial problem. It was honestly a life changing experience, one I would say everyone would benefit greatly from.

Hi! I’m Shannon - your coach, guide and support system.

If you’re here, you’re likely smart, self-aware, and done with the rigid, shame-based approaches that never stick. I know you’re not someone who usually asks for help, but you don’t have to do this on your own.

You don’t need more information. You need support that actually works in the moments you spiral. That’s where I come in.

Together, we’ll build the kind of stability that helps you feel calm, capable, and proud of how you show up — in your body, your choices, and your life.

I live and breathe compassionate coaching that actually creates change.

I’m a certified nutritionist with advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, and Compassionate Mind Training. I’m also completing a Diploma in Compassion-Focused Therapy, approved by the British Psychological Society.

I created Body Image Fundamentals, a training taken by over 200+ professionals to better support clients with disordered eating and appearance-related distress. But I’m just as proud of helping clients like you feel more present, self-assured, and at peace with their choices — because lasting change doesn’t come from fighting yourself. It comes from understanding your mind and knowing how to direct it.

That’s what led me to develop the Steady Mind™ philosophy — a compassionate, evidence-based approach to food, body image, and emotional wellbeing. It’s not about controlling your thoughts or fixing yourself. It’s about learning how your mind works, so you can guide it in a way that supports the life you want to live — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Featured & Academic Appearances

Steady Mind™ isn’t a method. It’s a philosophy for living.

No single technique — whether it’s thought work, breathwork, or habit-tracking — is enough on its own. That’s why this approach is holistic, practical, and built on science.

Together, we’ll use evidence-based tools to help you regulate your emotions, calm your inner critic, and build a relationship with food and your body that you’re proud of.

I know you’re not afraid of hard work.
You’re just tired of doing it from a place of self-criticism, fear, and not-enoughness.

This coaching space is where you can show up exactly as you are — and raise the standard for how you treat yourself.

Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.
Let’s do this.

LET'S TALK

I found the middle ground I didn’t think existed.

Even though I wanted to address my body image and eating habits, I still had body composition goals — and I wasn’t sure those could coexist. Shannon helped me find a way to pursue both without being consumed by either.

I’m living a more meaningful, fulfilling life without sacrificing the things that matter. If you want to flourish, in every sense of the word, Shannon is your girl.

I can go to the beach on bad body image days — and actually enjoy it.

I was following Shannon’s work for a while before reaching out, so I knew it wouldn’t be like any of my previous coaching experiences — but I’m still amazed by how much my life has changed. I can enjoy a weekend away without packing ‘healthy foods,’ I can go to the beach even on my bad body image days, and I’m even pursuing a career change. I felt heard, supported, and understood every step of the way.

BARBARA VODE
SPAIN

I achieved my biggest life goal.

Before working with Shannon, I was directing my energy toward the wrong things. I wanted to perform better in dance, but I was consumed by food and how I looked.
Now, I think about how my mindset supports the life I want — and I received an offer for my master’s degree, which was my top goal.
This was honestly the best investment I’ve made. I couldn’t have done this without Shannon.

RACHEL GREER

I found peace with food - and with myself.

I came to Shannon with a seriously tragic relationship with food, and an even worse view of myself. Her approach was unlike anything I’d experienced before- and I’ve had a few coaches.

Now, I’ve rediscovered a way of life free from perfectionism, chronic restriction, harsh self-talk, and the constant fear and anxiety around food. I feel a sense of peace and internal harmony that’s changed every area of my life.

I quit tracking and shared more meals with my fiancée.

This experience far exceeded my (high) expectations and I felt at the centre of every decision between us. I was able to quit tracking macros without too much stress, improve my performance in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, eat out with confidence, and share more meals with my fiancée. Working with Shannon was easily one of the best things I’ve ever done for my health — and I’ll be forever grateful for her work with me.

I finally understood what was holding me back — and everything changed.

The questions Shannon asked, how she asked them, and the resources she provided helped me explore my mind in a totally different way. It wasn’t just about setting a plan — it was about finally understanding what was actually holding me back. Shannon got to the root of it, with care and compassion the whole way through.

HEIDI WARR
CANADA

I finally stopped measuring my worth by macros and bodyweight.

I’ve worked with a few coaches before, but Shannon was completely different — in the best way. She helped me go deeper than ticking macro boxes and actually untangle the story behind my relationship with food. I stopped needing to ‘earn’ my meals and started seeing nutrition as a way to care for myself. Her lessons still stick with me — not just in how I eat, but in how I show up as a human and a coach.

CAITY HANIVER
AUSTRALIA

I finally broke free from the dieting/emotional eating cycle.

Before coaching with Shannon, I was stuck in a constant cycle of dieting and emotional eating. I was tying my worth to my weight, and it was taking over my life.
Shannon helped me become more compassionate with myself, so I could finally do the hard things and take time for me.

I get more stuff done, I feel more mindful, I am feeling so much better in my own skin. I have more interesting conversations, because I have more time to read. I actually feel a little bit tearful writing this, but I don't weigh, track myself, my steps, my calories & goodness knows what else daily. I have time & that's precious.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of life would you be proud to look back on?

This is a choice point.

Every moment, we’re either turning toward the life we want — or away from it.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to decide that the way things have been… isn’t how they have to stay.

If you’re ready to care for your body without the shame.
To eat well without spirals.
To show up in your life like someone who’s got their own back —

Then I’d love to support you.
